Hey everyone! It's me Janie, you're friendly CT neighbor, here at The Red Porch. I hope you've had fun with all of the challenges this week! I know I have. Are you ready for the fifth and final challenge?

Everyone agrees that one of the most important parts of any layout is the photo(s). For me, the photo is THE most important part. I spend a lot of time editing my photos in Photoshop, trying to create just the right look. Photography and photo-editing are two of my passions. So today I have a photo challenge for you!

For this challenge, I want you to create a layout using at least one photo with a vintage look. I absolutely adore the faded, soft, scratchy look of old photographs. It reminds me of spending hours with my Grandmother looking through ancient photo albums as she pointed out each of my relatives. For the challenge, you can actually use an old photo, or you can create a vintage look in photo editing software. There are a ton of free vintage actions available around the internet, just do a quick search and you can be sure to find one you like!

But you know what? This is the last day of challenges...and just using a vintage photo isn't super challenging! So if you want to really challenge yourself, try pairing your vintage photo with bright colors or funky, fresh designs.
